Classic Dad Vest Beginner Knit Kit

I chose the pistachio colour and to recieve needles in the kit as well. I found the instructions and videos very helpful, but the video about the neck collar got a little confusing, however I got there in the end. One of my needles broke (faulty) but a new one was sent out immediately, so great customer service. The vest is lovely, after looking at the pictures online I decided to add 4 extra rows of the stockinette stitch so it was a little longer on my belly (I made size S, I am 168cm tall and approx 60kg) and I am very happy with where it sits. It is very warm and cuddly. I am very glad I purchased a kit that was all inclusive to take out any stress. Definitely do the guage test and if you get different numbers google what to do before starting. Will ensure your sizing is correct.

As a beginner knitter, I really enjoyed knitting the vest and the wool is so soft. The instructions were easy to follow and the videos were really helpful. I will definitely be buying another kit.

Never in a million years did I think I could make something this beautiful (I'd only ever made a scarf previously!). I learnt so much through making this though and the videos were incredibly helpful! It was challenging but not too much thanks to all the support. So stoked with the final result and can't wait to show it off!
