New tutorials are very clear. The in person workshop helped a lot, Karen was very patient and clear about teaching knitting techniques. The wool has good quality and the overall length is friendly to making mistakes, too. This set is absolutely for absolute beginners, I did it!!

I chose the pistachio colour and to recieve needles in the kit as well. I found the instructions and videos very helpful, but the video about the neck collar got a little confusing, however I got there in the end. One of my needles broke (faulty) but a new one was sent out immediately, so great customer service. The vest is lovely, after looking at the pictures online I decided to add 4 extra rows of the stockinette stitch so it was a little longer on my belly (I made size S, I am 168cm tall and approx 60kg) and I am very happy with where it sits. It is very warm and cuddly. I am very glad I purchased a kit that was all inclusive to take out any stress. Definitely do the guage test and if you get different numbers google what to do before starting. Will ensure your sizing is correct.

Dad Vest - Gorgeous and easy to follow for beginners!
I am very new to knitting, and decided to take on the Dad Vest as my 2nd project (my first being a simple scarf). I ordered the kit with the moss green yarn, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I haven't stopped wearing it! The whole process was easy and enjoyable, the kit was great, the pattern was clear and the supplementary videos were incredibly beneficial for a beginner like me. At times, the yarn was a little tricky to manage and loosened a little, but, overall it was fine.
